Ice Lipo Treatment

(Also known as “Fat Freezing” and “Cryo Lipo”)

Based on the science of Cryolipolysis. It’s a term that combines “cryo” (icy cold) with “lipolysis” (the chemical decomposition of fat).

This process engineers the cooling of the fat cells to near freezing so they are destroyed. The body then eliminate the crystallized cells in the weeks to follow, reducing up to 40% of fat in the treated area*.
This procedure is ideal for selective targets of localized fat deposits; common areas include, abdominal fat, love handles, back rolls, thighs, and bulges above caesarean section incision lines.

Fat Freezing is a completely non-invasive, safe and effective treatment for the reduction of body fat without the need for surgery. It selectively targets troublesome areas of fat such as muffin tops, love handles, bingo wings and back fat. This treatment does not require any anaesthetic, time off work, no garment post-treatment or weekly massages. Non-Invasive treatment that freezes your fat cells, these fat cells then die and are naturally processed and removed from the body
On average a 20% fat reduction per area, per treatment, patients can expect to see results after 3 weeks, results can be seen at around month 3.

Fat Freezing is a non-invasive fat reduction procedure, which allows the fat to be frozen away through Cryoliposis and gets disposed of out of our body’s natural digestive process.
Fat Freezing uses freezing temperatures to break down fat cells however not damaging the surrounding cells,
After your Fat Freezing procedure, the body naturally disposes of the unwanted dead fat cells. This takes time as your body is busy processing and breaking down the fat cells through a procedure called Apoptosis – which is where enzymes break down the cells into smaller pieces to allow for your white blood cells (macrophages) to remove them from your body permanently and during this time the fat cells adjust and realign the fat cell to contour your shape.
Fat Freezing is a permanent solution to get rid of stubborn fat cells as they are destroyed naturally and gone forever However remaining fat cells can still enlarge over time if there is weight gain in the future. This can of course affect results, but typically if the same weight is maintained the results will remain the same.

THE PROCESS
The Cryo Heads vacuum up the stubborn fat-bearing areas of the skin. The area is cooled to a controlled temperature which causes the fat cells beneath to crystallise, the destroyed fat cells are then gradually disposed of via the body’s metabolic system.
There will be very mild, cold, discomfort for around 5 mins and Slight redness in the area. You can go back to your daily activities immediately.

How much does it cost?

Prices are based on per area that is being treated
One Cryo Cup will cover: Lower Abdomen | Upper Abdomen
Two Cryo Cups will cover: Upper & Lower Abdomen|Arms |Love Handles | Male Chests | Bra rolls |Inner thighs |Buttocks
Obviously, the number of cups required will depend on the size of the body area(s). This will be determined during the free consultation.

Ice lipo – 1 area £150 (45 minutes)
Ice Lipo with Radio Frequency & Cavitation – 1 area £250 (90 minutes)

What are the benefits of Lipo Cavitation?
Lipo cavitation is highly effective in removing unwanted fat, reducing cellulite, and stimulating circulation and collagen production. The procedure targets fat cells in the underlying skin layers using low-frequency ultrasound waves to break down fat. After a few days, the cells release fatty substances, which are absorbed by the body’s lymphatic system, and naturally eliminated as waste.

A gel is applied to the treatment area to aid the ultrasound device to move smoothly over the skin. Ultrasound waves penetrate deep into skin layers to disrupt and dislodge the fat through vibrations.

Age, metabolism, the individual’s tissue structure, and the treatment area will influence results, so it is important to have a healthy diet and regular exercise to get the best out of lipo cavitation treatment.
Several sessions are usually needed to achieve optimal effects however even after the first treatment, you will start seeing good results. There are multiple benefits from this procedure that make it an increasingly popular alternative to liposuction or tummy tucks including fat loss reducing cellulite, and stretch marks
Lipo cavitation reduces fat by liquifying fat deposits that are secreted through the body’s waste. The ultrasound whilst stimulating tissue and collagen regeneration it also improves body contouring.
Non-invasive and non-surgical, with no downtime a normal routine can be resumed afterwards. During a lipo cavitation session, the ultrasound device may feel like a gentle massage. While some people experience a tingling sensation or sensitivity, it is a pain-free procedure and completely harmless without damaging surrounding tissues, cells, and organs.

Who will benefit the most from Lipo cavitation treatment?
Lipo cavitation fat reduction is best supported by following a well-balanced, low-calorie diet while staying hydrated and getting frequent exercise. It should not be a substitute for exercise or healthy eating. During your treatment program, you will notice a reduction of inches off your circumference and results will keep improving with multiple sessions.
Patients who are 18 years old and over and who are in generally good health are ideal candidates that will benefit from lipo cavitation. However, this procedure is not suitable for those who are pregnant, have kidney, liver, or heart disease, or any other debilitating or life-threatening conditions.
What is Radiofrequency?
Radiofrequency (RF) therapy, also called radiofrequency skin tightening, is a non-surgical method of tightening your skin. The procedure involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin known as your dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen. Collagen is the most common protein in your body. It creates the framework of your skin and gives your skin its firmness. As you age, your cells produce less collagen, which leads to sagging skin and wrinkles. Skin laxity occurs around age 35 to 40 when the quantity and quality of your collagen begins to disappear.
The primary benefits of RF therapy are skin tightening skin and a reduction in fine lines / wrinkles. However, RF therapy may also help fight sun damage due to its ability to stimulate the production of collagen as exposure to ultraviolet rays can cause these collagen fibres to break down.

Is the Cryolipo treatment painful?

With this kind of non-invasive method, there’s no need for anaesthesia or pain killers, with no recovery time. The process is comfortable for the majority of clients. Patients can read a book, work on their laptop, listen to music or just relax throughout the procedure.

How do the results match up against other procedures such as liposuction?

Cryolipolysis Research Results:
“Cryolipolysis has demonstrated efficacy in both human and animal studies. Histology findings also confirm the selective reduction of fat in both humans and animals, with evidence of a gradual thinning of the fat layer over a period of two to four months. Importantly, cryolipolysis has not produced any significant adverse side effects in studies to date and any noted effects have been minor and temporary” Original Cryolipolysis Research Journal
