About Laser Hair Removal

Hair removal procedures have come a long way in recent years and IPL can give men and women the freedom from unwanted body hair with a simple laser treatment. IPL is one of the few hair removal treatments that offer a more permanent approach to getting rid of unwanted body hair for a longer-lasting reduction of unwanted hair.
IPL laser hair removal works by treating the area of unwanted hair growth by delivering a specific range of wavelengths. These wavelengths of light penetrate the surface of the skin and target the melanin within the hair follicle. The hair follicle absorbs the light which causes it to heat up and die without any damage to the surrounding tissue. This process of destroying the hair follicles means that hair growth is significantly reduced.
